If a ground spike or stake is used for signage installation, the following requirements must be met:
1. It must be painted white to match the post.
2. The spike/stake must not be visible. It must be ful inserted into the ground.
If a sign is found to be improperly installed using one of these ground spikes or stakes, the Association will remedy the violation and invoice the builder a $25.00 service fee.
1. 1rider is permitted.
2. If the lot abuts the golf course, 2 real estate or FSBO signs are permitted (one facing the street and one facing the golf course); otherwise, only 1 sign per home/lot.
3. Installation of real estate and for sale by owner signage must adhere to the following:
1. Not be leaning or crooked
2. Cannot be in the tree lawn, must be in property yard
3. One sign per property
4. Information/Flyer boxes can be mounted to the back of the signs
5. If installed using a ground spike, the spike portion should not be visible and the post holding portion must be painted white to match the post.
4. Temporary signs of appropriate size, condition, and location supporting a family member (for example, a congratulatory sign for a high school graduation, or a sign announcing the birth of a child) or a charitable event (for example, a walk/run/bike event to raise money for cancer research) are permitted for 30 days and should be removed soon after the event. The New Albany Links Homeowners’ Association retains the right to determine what signs are of appropriate size, condition, and location, constitutes a reasonable period of time for displaying a sign, on a case by case basis.
5. Political signs may be displayed only during the two week period before an election and must be promptly removed after the election.
6. Signs are not permitted to be affixed to the exterior of a house.
7. All other signs are prohibited unless prior Architectural Review Board approval is obtained.
